Remote VR Visualization System VR-PBVR 1.0 (2023/03/29)
Remote visualization software PBVR (CS-PBVR) compresses large data on remote storage into particle data and transfers it to a user PC for efficient visualization.
VR-PBVR is an extension of CS-PBVR's visualization functionality for the Oculus head-mounted display. This enables interactive VR visualization of large-scale data stored on remote storage on a PC at hand.

The GUI of this program has been updated from version 1.11.

PBVR 1.11 (March 15, 2019)
This release is update of previous 1.10. In this release, both of non-filtered PBVR suited to visualize GB scale data and filtered PBVR suited to visualize TB scale data are released.
In addition, the following points have been corrected in this update.
・ Unification of transfer function editors for non-filtered PBVR and filtered PBVR.
・ Fixed warnings of KVS library at compile.
・ Fixed memory leak and undefined behavior in particle data merge using particle merge panel.

This release added some new functions to the 1.09 release.

• Filter program and Server program are connected into single program, and it can visualize input data without filter pre-processing.

This is a fixed release that addresses some issues reported in the 1.08 release.
Some of the issues addressed by this release are:
【Filter】
• The filter program couldn’t read AVSUCD binary data on ICEX. Now fixed.
• Filtering process for the multiple elemental data didn’t finish. Now fixed.
• STL dataset couldn’t processed with MPI. Fixed that.
【Server】
• Transfer function default ranges are set to min/max values of first time step.
• The number of particles over the particle limit was generated. Now fixed.
• The number of particles generated in the Client/Server mode and the Batch mode were different. Now fixed.
【Client】
• Time step animation automatically started after launching. Fixed to start the animation after pushing “Start” button.
• If no parameter file is specified for launching, the default values of transfer function editor panel didn’t reflect to the particle generation. Now fixed.
• Modified to allow “_” for prefix of kvsml file name in the Stand alone mode.
