Awards

On December 10, 2022, Takuma Kawamura, Associate Senior Research Scientist, received the "Outstanding Presentation Award" at the 41st JSST Annual International Conference on Simulation Technology held online on September 2, 2022, hosted by the Japan Society for Simulation Technology. This award is given to academically outstanding presentations at the conference. In the award-winning presentation,“VR Extension of Particle-based Remote Visualization Application”, we extended VR visualization using a head-mount display in a remote visualization software based on particle-based volume rendering, which was highly praised for its capability to interactively visualize large-scale data stored on remote computers.
